I love the Lake County Forest Preserves (FP). I had gone to two FPs in one week and both were so distinctively different. Each one having a unique character and nature. As I thought about how different they were and how they affected me, I thought about all the Forest Preserves in Lake County. . . .Wouldn't it be great to check them all out and see how they're different.
So that's what I am setting out to do. In 2011 I would like to hike in each one of the Lake County Forest Preserves.
Let me make it clear the Lake County Forest Preserves did not ask me to do this and I am not receiving any endorsement or payment from them. I'm doing this just because I want to.
So getting started. . .
December will be prep month. I may blog a little. Feel free to comment. I'll also be learning how to use the blog tool. so no laughing. Well, OK, you can laugh if it's funny ;) In January, I'll take off running, or at least walking. Hope you enjoy.

ReplyDeleteThat would be my wonderful husband outfitting me for the great outdoors! I did see a hand held GPS by Bushnell. Not only good for finding your way around the woods and back to camp, but also finding your way back to your car in a parking lot! It's called the BackTrack GPS
